PRICE, Utah — One of three people charged with the murder of a Price man last month is scheduled to be in court Wednesday for her preliminary hearing.
Ashley Ann Platt, 21, faces charges for first-degree murder, aggravated kidnapping, and second-degree criminal conspiracy.
Police said Platt and two men beat Brian Swink and locked him in the basement of a house that later caught fire.
Swink died of smoke inhalation, according to a medical examiner.
All three suspects are facing murder charges for Swink’s death.
