SALT LAKE CITY — The American Fork High School cross country teams won the 5A state championships on Wednesday at Sugar House Park in Salt Lake City.
The boys won their sixth-straight state championship, led by Zac Jacklin, who also won an individual state championship.
The American Fork girls won their first state championship since 2009, ending Davis’ 4-year reign at the top of 5A.
Herriman’s Lucy Biles won the 4A individual state title for the third year in a row.
Timpanogos High School won the 4A boys championship, and Mountain Crest High School won the 4A girls championship.
