Vigil held for woman found in Jordan River weeks after she vanished

MURRAY, Utah -- Friends and family gathered Thursday to remember a Murray woman whose body was found in the Jordan River on Monday.

Kayleyn Louder, 30, had last been seen outside of her Murray condo on September 27.

Louder’s family and friends said they want answers to their questions about what happened after Louder left her home and how she wound up in the Jordan River. Supporters held a candlelight vigil at Murray Park.

“There's still so many unanswered questions for us, so we're glad to have found her and know where she is, but now the why and the how are still unanswered," family spokesperson Amy Fugal said.

Fugal said the autopsy is complete but said the family doesn’t know the results yet, but she said she believes foul play was involved.

Right now, they are preparing for Louder’s viewing, which is Friday, and her funeral on Saturday.
