SALT LAKE CITY — A four-day DUI blitz conducted by Utah Highway Patrol netted thousands of stops and nearly 80 DUI arrests, according UHP officials Monday.
The blitz started New Year’s Eve at 9 p.m. and ended Sunday at midnight. In the 3,902 stops made there were 73 DUI arrests, 1,841 stopped for speeding, 100 seat belt violations and 150 crashes, according to a tweet from UHP Monday.
There were no fatalities.
