WEBER COUNTY, Utah — A Weber County man pleaded guilty Wednesday to the 2009 double murder of a Roy mother and her son.
Jeremy Valdes pleaded guilty to two counts of first-degree felony murder in court Wednesday.
He killed Matthew Roddy and strangled Roddy’s mother- Pamela Knight Jeffries –after they allegedly accused him of stealing their prescription drugs.
Valdes could face 15-years-to-life in prison.
He is scheduled for sentencing on March 10.
