Car burglaries reported in Pleasant Grove; police advise public to lock vehicles

PLEASANT GROVE, Utah –Police remind public to lock their cars after recieving several reports of vehicle burglaries in Pleasant Grove over the past month, according to the Pleasant Grove police Facebook page Monday.

Approximately 10 cars were broken into. Police say five of those vehicles were left unlocked.

Police say the other five cars had items stolen out of them. Those valuables were left in plain sight.

Stolen property included purses, GPS units and MP3 players.

Police suggest not to leave valuables in the car or to hide them in the trunk or glove box.

Police remind the public to lock their homes and vehicles.
