BYU calls on quarterback who used up his eligibility to help out in spring practice

PROVO, Utah -- The Brigham Young University football team completed day two of spring football, and the attention continues to be on the quarterbacks--including one who has already used up his eligibility.

With McCoy Hill out for an unspecified amount of time, and with Taysom Hill not doing contact drills at this point, a special guest showed up at practice to help out at quarterback. Perhaps you've heard of Christian Stewart, who started the last eight games of the season.

He was as surprised as anybody to get the call, and both he and Coach Bronco Mendenhall worried putting him on the field for practice might break NCAA rules. See the video above for details and comments from Stewart, Mendenhall and others.
