DRAPER, Utah — Draper police are looking for a car that swerved into a family of six Friday night–hitting the father who was pushing a toddler in a stroller.

The incident occurred around 8:30 p.m. Friday in the area of 13000 South and Pony Express Road, and police said a dark-colored sedan, possibly a Malibu or a model with a similar appearance, struck the man who was on the shoulder of the road.

The toddler in the stroller was not injured, but the father was taken to a hospital with a broken leg.

The suspect vehicle was last seen traveling southbound on Pony Express Road.

Sgt. David Harris, Draper Police Department, said the vehicle is likely to have damage to the front end and a broken passenger-side mirror.

Anyone with information about the incident or the vehicle is asked to call Draper police at 801-576-6500.
