CLEARFIELD, Utah - Two joggers are in serious condition after a truck hit them in an intersection Thursday morning.
Police said two women, ages 61 and 26 were in the crosswalk when a left-turning truck hit them at 700 S. State St. just after 6 a.m.
Authorities said the light was changing so the truck tried to get out of the intersection, didn't see the joggers and hit them.
Emergency crews were down the street at another accident when they heard the accident and rushed over.
Crews said the women were thrown several feet when the truck hit them.
Authorities said one of the joggers was wearing a headlamp.
