COTTONWOOD HEIGHTS, Utah — Cottonwood Heights police have reopened 3000 E after a temporary closure Monday morning they said was necessitated by the discovery of a suspected explosive device.
The device was found at the U.S. Forest Service’s Ranger District building, 6944 S 3000 E.
Police temporarily closed the northbound and southbound lanes of 3000 E at 6900 S.
A bomb squad and fire officials responded to the scene.
