The driver over-corrected after drifting, and the vehicle rolled at least two times. Both occupants were wearing seat belts.

The juvenile’s father, identified as 43-year-old Joseph Ryan Henrie of Cedar City, suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver was taken to a St. George area hospital by ambulance. Officials stated the injuries to the juvenile, who is also from Cedar City, are serious but not life-threatening.
