University of Utah cancels some classes after air conditioning units fail

SALT LAKE CITY – Many University of Utah classes are being canceled after air conditioning equipment failed in eight of the buildings on the campus.

Classes and events will continue to be moved, cancelled and rescheduled as repair work continues.

Temperatures in Salt Lake were in the triple digits all weekend and are expected to hit 102 Monday.

The following buildings and classes are affected:
