COCONINO COUNTY, Ariz. -- A 5-year-old Colorado City boy was found dead Monday after going missing near Jacobs Lake last week, Coconino County Sheriff's Office confirmed Monday evening.
Jerold Joseph Williams went missing Aug. 6 at about 5:30 p.m. about 12 miles from Jacobs Lake. The boy was camping with his family in the northern portion of the Kaibab National Forest.
Investigators are en route to the scene where the child was found dead.
It is unknown at this time where Jerold was found or if they suspect foul play. More information will be provided as it becomes available.
