UTAH -- It was week three of the high school football season across Utah Friday night, and there was buzz for a big game with national implications, as Bingham High School hosted the No. 1 team in the country: Bishop Gorman High School out of Nevada.
The Miners fell 38-20 to Bishop Gorman.
Brighton faced off at home against American Fork, coming away with a 28-27 win.
Herriman was at Hunter, and both teams entered Friday with 1-1 records. Herriman won 38-19.
East High School had their season opener Friday against Clearfield, and they won big, racking up a score of 45-7.
