Syracuse PD seeks missing elderly man who may be in Salt Lake City area

SYRACUSE, Utah — Police in Syracuse are asking for the public’s help locating a 68-year-old man who was last seen September 1, and officers said the man has a brain injury but doesn’t have his medication with him.

According to information from the Syracuse Police Department, 68-year-old Kenneth Starbuck was last seen in the area of 2763 South 2675 West September 1 around 10 a.m. He was reported missing by his sister on September 3.

Police state Starbuck has a brain injury and does not have his medication with him.

The man, pictured above, was last seen wearing a gray shirt, blue jeans and brown shoes as well as a gray baseball cap. The man stands 5-feet 7-inches tall and weighs 155 pounds. He has blue eyes, gray hair and a tattoo of an eagle on his left forearm.

Police stated the man’s preferred methods of travel are on foot and by bus, and they said he may be in the area of 4100 South and State Street in Salt Lake City.

Anyone who sees the man is asked to call Syracuse PD at 801-825-4400 or their local authorities via 911.
