WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah – A teen is recovering after crashing her car into a power pole overnight.

Police said a 16-year-old girl lost control of her car and hit a power pole at 1:30 a.m., shearing the pole at the base near 6400 W. and 3600 S.

The girl was wearing her seat belt and had only minor injuries.
