- 1 lb. ground beef (80/20)
- ¼ teaspoon onion powder
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon chili powder
- ¼ teaspoon cumin
- ⅛ teaspoon paprika
- 1 can (15 oz) black beans, rinsed, drained
- 1 can (16 oz) refried beans
- 12 tostada shells
- Salt and Pepper, to taste
Suggested Toppings:
- Shredded cheese
- Shredded lettuce
- Salsa
- Hot Sauce
- Jalapeno slices
- Black olive slices
In a large skillet, cook ground beef with the following 5 spices, salt and pepper over medium heat until browned; drain. Add black beans and stir until heated through.
In a saucepan, heat refried beans until heated through. Spread refried beans over tostada shells. Top with beef mixture and serve with your choice of toppings.
