PARIS — “Eagles of Death Metal,” a band that was scheduled to play Friday night at the Paris venue where hostages were reportedly executed, has played several shows in Utah.
Police stormed the Bataclan concert hall as hostages were being executed one-by-one inside the concert hall, Fox News reports.
As of 12:55 a.m. Saturday, local time in Paris, the attack at the concert hall has ended and two assailants have been killed.
“We are still currently trying to determine the safety and whereabouts of all our band and crew. Our thoughts are with all of the people involved in this tragic situation,” a posting on the band’s Facebook page said.
David Hughes, brother of Eagles of Death Metal band member Jesse Hughes, reported on Facebook that he spoke with Jesse following the attack and that Jesse and the rest of the band are “ok.”
The Washington Post reports the wife of drummer Julian Dorio also said the band is safe.
