WEST JORDAN, Utah — Five people have been injured, two of them seriously, after a crash on Mountain View Corridor in West Jordan Saturday night, and the crash temporarily closed lanes of Mountain View.
West Jordan Police Department said emergency crews responded to 9000 South and Mountain View Corridor after a vehicle accident, and FOX 13 News first heard reports of the crash around 7 p.m.
Police said two people are in serious condition, two people had lesser injuries, and a fifth person had very minor injuries.
UDOT stated there were lane closures in the area and that drivers should seek an alternate route, but by later Saturday night the crash was cleared and the lanes were reopened.
It was not immediately clear how many vehicles were involved or how the crash occurred. FOX 13 News has reached out to police for further information, and will update this story as more details become available.
