Police seek public’s help in finding Midvale bank robbery suspect

MIDVALE, Utah — Police are seeking the public’s help in locating a suspect in a bank robbery in Midvale Friday afternoon.

At 3 p.m., a man walked into a U.S. Bank at 800 East and Fort Union Boulevard and presented a note to the teller demanding money, according to Unified Police.

The teller complied and the suspect fled the scene on foot toward the north side of Hillcrest High School.

The suspect is reported to be a man in his 20s. He is described to be 5 feet 9 inches tall, a slender build and light complexion with pale cheeks and blue eyes.

He was last seen wearing a blue sweat shirt, dark pants and he covered a portion of his head and face with a black ski mask.
