OREM, Utah — An Orem woman faces a charge of public urination and several other charges after police were called to her home twice during a party she was hosting.
According to a Facebook post by the Orem Police Department, officers first responded to the home of Lupita Guadalupe Luna after receiving a complaint about a loud party.
Officers spoke with Luna, who told them she would keep the noise down. A short time later, the Facebook post said, police received a report of a fight at the same house.
Police said party attendees ran inside the house when officers arrived and
Luna was much more intoxicated than she was during their previous visit.
“She refuses to sign the ticket we were giving her and to show her displeasure, she pulls down her pants and goes to the bathroom in the middle of the street,” the Facebook post said. “Needless to say, she was arrested and now gets to use the bathroom at the jail.”
A representative for Orem PD said the public urination occurred right in front of officers.
Luna’s other charges include disturbing the peace, disorderly conduct and intoxication. Jail records show she was booked into the Utah County Jail at 3:19 a.m. Sunday and released four hours later.
