SALT LAKE COUNTY - One man is dead after being hit by a semi truck on I-215 E. at 3100 S.
Authorities have closed the northbound lanes at 4100 S. and are asking drivers to find an alternate route.
The Utah Highway Patrol is investigating why the man was on the roadway.
The victim's name has not been released.
Troopers have not issued any citations at this time.
