SANDY, Utah — Crews responded to a structure fire in Sandy Friday morning.
The fire started around 9 o’clock in a dual-purpose structure at 10084 Altavilla Dr. The structure is barn-shaped with a garage in the lower section and a hayloft in the upper section. A calf was in the hayloft area of the building and it died in the fire.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
