SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah Jazz NBA D-League team, the Idaho Stampede, is relocating to Salt Lake City for the 2016-2017 season.
The team will become the Salt Lake City Stars and will play 24 home games at Salt Lake City Community College between November and April.
The team said Bart Sharp has been named general manager of the new SLC Stars, aligning all business aspects, including ticket sales, sponsorships and marketing.
He has worked in the Larry H. Miller Group of Companies since 2010 as a marketing executive for LHMSE, Fanzz Sports Stores and Saxton Horne Communications.

Season ticket prices start as low as $3.25 per game.
Players on the current Jazz roster with D-League experience include Rudy Gobert, Chris Johnson, Shelvin Mack and Tibor Pleiss.
