BOUNTIFUL, Utah — An 18-year-old man suffered head injuries in a longboard crash in Bountiful Sunday and was flown to a hospital in critical condition.
Chief Jeff Bassett of South Davis Metro Fire said the man was found in the street after a crash around 12:13 p.m.
The man was riding on East Hills Drive when the crash occurred, and a passerby found the injured man and called 911. So far there are no witnesses to the actual crash, so specific details about the sequence of events or the involvement of any vehicles is unclear.
The longboarder suffered head injuries and was flown to Intermountain Medical Center, and Bassett said they don’t believe his injuries are life-threatening.
