LAYTON, Utah — Layton City has confirmed that 20 homes in the 900 block of La Verde St. are without water due to a water main break.
Steve Garside, Public Information Officer with Layton City, said the cause of the main break is due to temperature change. When temperatures quickly change, it shifts the ground, causing pipes to burst.
Repairs are estimated to take about four hours.
