SANDY, Utah — Hale Centre Theatre's production of "Mary Poppins" has been suspended until July 28 after two members of the company tested positive for COVID-19.

"Contact tracing for all individuals potentially exposed has occurred as per the theatre’s safety plan [hct.org] and in close consultation with the Salt Lake County Health Department," a news release from Hale Centre Theatre said.

Staff members with the Hale Centre Theatre box office will contact people who had tickets to the canceled shows to reschedule, the news release said.

Another member of the company for the Mary Poppins production also tested positive for COVID-19 on July 8. The Salt Lake County Health Department did not conduct contact tracing for that case because the person had not been in the building for several days.
