More than 100,000 vaccines distributed in Utah, according to latest report from Department of Health

More than 100,000 vaccines have been distributed in Utah, an increase since Saturday's report from the Utah Department of Health

New Cases
2,276 new cases have been reported, for a total of 305,999 in Utah since March.

Testing
10,056 new tests have been conducted, for a total of 1,826,385.
The rolling seven-day average of positive cases is now 3,212 per day, or roughly 31.5% of those tested.

Hospitalizations
541 people are currently hospitalized with COVID-19. There have been 11,866 people hospitalized since the pandemic began.

Deaths
Two new deaths have been reported, bringing the statewide death total to 1,392. The newly reported deaths include:

  • Male, older than 85, Washington County resident, hospitalized at time of death
  • Female, between 65-84, Washington County resident, hospitalized at time of death

Vaccinations
3,197 new vaccinations have been administered. A total 102,809 have now been administered, some of which include second doses for those in Phase I

Note: “Doses Administered” is the number of vaccine doses that have been given to people and reported to the UDOH. There will be a lag between when vaccines are shipped, administered to a person, and finally reported to the UDOH.
