Nearly 20,000 new vaccines distributed in Saturday's report from Utah Department of Health

New Cases
686 new cases have been reported, for a total of 370,770.

Testing
An additional 6,752 people have been tested, for a total of 2,201,426. The rolling seven-day average of positive tests is now 681 per day, or roughly 12.2% of those tested.

Hospitalizations
223 people are currently hospitalized. Since March of 2020, 14,664 Utahns have been hospitalized with COVID-19.

Deaths
22 new deaths have been reported, for a statewide total of 1,929. Of the newly reported deaths, 19 occurred before February 6, 2021. The newly reported deaths include:

  • between 65-84, Davis County resident, not hospitalized
  • between 65-84, Salt Lake County resident, not hospitalized
  • between 45-64, Weber County resident, long-term care facility resident
  • older than 85, Beaver County resident, hospitalized at time of death
  • between 65-84, Washington County resident, not hospitalized
  • between 65-84, Salt Lake County resident, hospitalized at time of death
  • between 65-84, Washington County resident, long-term care facility resident
  • between 65-84, Beaver County resident, hospitalized at time of death
