No new COVID-19 deaths reported by Department of Health for the second day in a row

The latest COVID-19 numbers released by the Utah Department of Health report no deaths, but a daily increase rate of approximately 2.4%.

14,313 lab-confirmed cases have been confirmed. That is an increase of 332 new cases since yesterday.

Approximately 8,252 of those cases are considered “recovered.”

Nearly 5,000 new tests have been conducted, bringing the statewide total to 267,713.

16 new hospitalizations have been reported. 1,028 people have been hospitalized since March, and 137 people are currently hospitalized in connection to the virus.

For the second day in a row, no new deaths have been reported.
