Officers removed Donkersgoed for his own safety, put cuffs on his ankles and was placed him back into the truck.

During the trip to the Utah County Jail, Donkersgoed allegedly kicked the officer driving in the head with both feet. The officer reported seeing "stars and became nauseous" before hitting a median on Interstate 15.
