OGDEN, Utah — Fire crews extinguished a fire at an Ogden home Tuesday morning after someone reported seeing smoke coming out of a basement window.
Crews responded to 2711 Liberty Ave at 6:24. On arrival, they entered a basement apartment and quickly put out the fire.
The damage is estimated at $15,000 and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
No one was injured, but three people may be displaced due to fire and smoke damage.
According to the Ogden Fire Department, eighteen firefighters from the Ogden and South Ogden fire departments responded to the scene, along with one ladder truck, three fire engines, one paramedic rescue, one ambulance, a fire marshal and a battalion chief.
