PAYSON, Utah — A dead body was found and recovered from Payson Canyon Friday.
According to the Utah County Sheriff's Office, the body was discovered Friday afternoon by a hiker and appeared to have been there for a while.
The deceased person's identity has not been determined yet; Officials say they believe they know who it is but are waiting for a positive identification, expected to be available midweek next week.
