SUMMIT COUNTY, Utah — People camping in the area of Mirror Lake Highway in Summit County are being evacuated as crews work to contain a wildfire.
The "Shingle Creek Fire" is estimated at 20-30 acres as of Saturday around 4:30 p.m. It is burning in the "Norway Flat" area on the north side of the highway (State Route 150) near milepost 11.
Multiple ground and air firefighting resources are being deployed, and search and rescue teams are also working to track down hikers and hunters in the area.
The Summit County Sheriff's Office has also asked everyone to avoid the highway to allow fire crews better access.
The blaze was caused by a car fire, according to SCSO Lt. Andrew Wright.
This is a developing news story and will be updated as more information becomes available.
