RICHMOND, Utah — All of Utah's skiing and snowboarding destinations are finally open.
Cherry Peak Resort, located in Richmond, Cache County, announced its anticipated opening date Saturday, and on Monday morning, it finally kicked off its 2020-21 season. Its hours will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Of Utah's 15 ski resorts, Cherry Peak is the last to open. Many others have had to open later than expected and limit the areas open due to relatively low snowfall.
Like the rest, Cherry Peak is putting guidelines in place to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. They include mask requirements, social distancing between groups, limited capacity indoors, among others.
