SALT LAKE CITY — Next week is the last chance to get a permit for elk and buck deer hunting in Utah this fall.
Due to COVID-19, permits will only be sold online on the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources Website. Permits will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis.
All general-season bull elk permits and one CWMU buck pronghorn permit will be available beginning at eight a.m. on Thursday, July 16.
General-season buck deer permits will be available at 8 a.m on Tuesday, July 21.
General-season archery deer permits for youth 17-years and younger will be online at 8 a.m on July 21.
An online queue will be used to ensure web stability and people will not be able to enter the queue until 8 a.m. on the day of availability.
