SALT LAKE CITY — Governor Gary Herbert released a list of recommendations to stop COVID-19 from spreading through the Utah community.
In a news conference Thursday afternoon, Herbert gave the following recommendations:
- Beginning March 16, limit mass gatherings to groups of 100 healthy individuals
- Beginning March 16, people who are over 60, or immuno-compromised, should avoid large gatherings of more than 20 people
- If possible, work from home starting immediately
- Local health departments are urged to protect high-risk populations
