MYTON, Utah — Detectives with the Duchesne County Sheriff's Office are investigating a shooting that sent one man to a hospital Thursday afternoon.
Dispatch received a report of the shooting shortly after 2 p.m., and deputies and emergency medical personnel responded to a home near 300 E Main St. in Myton.
The shooting victim went to a hospital via helicopter for treatment. His condition was not immediately known.
Detectives are questioning another man in connection with the shooting, and they do not believe there is any further threat to the public.
The names and ages of the victim and the other man involved in the shooting were not released.
