Names of protesters arrested during downtown SLC protests

SALT LAKE CITY — FOX 13 has obtained names of most individuals arrested in Saturday's downtown protests that turned violent.

All of the listed names were arrested on suspicion of "Failure to disperse," which court documents defined as "refused to comply and obey an emergency acted curfew at 2000 hrs on May 30, 2020, and remained unlawfully in an active riot.”

All of the names listed below were released on their own recognizance, which court documents stated meant they were required to "attend all scheduled court proceedings for which appearance is mandatory.”

The names and ages of those arrested are:

  • Ian Eaton, 20

Salt Lake City Police originally stated that 41 were arrested; Four names were not available at the time of this report. As of Monday morning, police said 46 people had been arrested.
