RIVERDALE, Utah — A stretch of Interstate 15 will be closed to northbound traffic Friday night and Saturday night to allow construction crews to work on pavement maintenance.
The Utah Department of Transportation is alerting drivers to expect delays as northbound traffic will be detoured off I-15 at Riverdale Road, then back on via I-84. The closure is scheduled for 10 p.m. each night and reopening Saturday at 8 a.m. and Sunday at 9 a.m.
The construction is part of the UDOT's I-15 Express Lanes project, which will extend the freeway's Express Lanes and repair sections between Layton Parkway and Riverdale Road.
