WEBER COUNTY, Utah — Interstate 84 was fully closed in one direction Tuesday afternoon as crews cleaned up the scene of a tanker truck crash.
The Utah Department of Transportation initially announced only a partial closure of the westbound right shoulder around 2 p.m. Then around 3:45, UDOT announced that both westbound lanes were closed.
Utah Highway Patrol officials told FOX 13 News that a semi-truck tipped over and was spilling liquid fertilizer.
It was fully reopened shortly after 6 p.m.
