WEST POINT, Utah — An officer was involved in a shooting Tuesday morning in West Point, according to the Davis County Sheriff's Office.
The shooting occurred near 4600 W 800 N. No one was injured.
"The male was transported to the hospital for an unrelated medical issue. Once medically released, he will be transported to the Davis County Correctional Facility in Farmington,"a news release from the Sheriff's Office said.
Although no injuries occurred, a critical incident team will investigate the shooting per protocol.
