SALT LAKE CITY — Presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg is scheduled to be in Salt Lake City Monday night for a free town hall event.
Buttigieg’s town hall is set to be held at The Union Event Center, at 235 N 500 W in SLC, starting at 8:30 p.m. The doors will open at 7 p.m. Click here for further details.
Buttigieg (pronounced Boot-Edge-Edge) was the mayor of South Bend, Indiana from January 2012 to January of 2020.
His platform includes making healthcare affordable, ensuring fair wages and addressing climate change.
Presidential hopeful Mike Bloomberg, announced his second visit to Utah on Monday. He plans to be in the Beehive State Thursday morning, for a public appearance set to to begin at 8 a.m.
The location for Bloomberg's appearance has not yet been confirmed.
Utah's presidential primary will be held on March 3.
