JUAB COUNTY, Utah — A new fire ignited Monday in Juab County and is threatening multiple structures.
The "Powerline Fire" is burning west of Mona at an estimated 1,000 acres, according to state wildfire officials. It started shortly after 5 p.m.
The blaze is threatening a natural gas power plant, high voltage transmission lines and a large commercial tomato greenhouse.
The cause of the fire is not yet known.
