HOLLADAY, Utah — Due to ongoing severe drought conditions, the Holladay City Council announced that fireworks will be banned east of 1300 East for the remainder of 2026.
No exceptions will be made for the 4th of July or Pioneer Day.
The city also announced that extra patrols from the Unified Police Department will be in place to help enforce the fireworks ban, and also asks the public to report any illegal fireworks to the non-emergency dispatch line at 801-840-4000.
