BOX ELDER COUNTY, Utah — The Box Elder County Sheriff's Office is investigating a possible suspicious death after finding a man's body Friday evening in a rural area.
Friday at about 6 p.m., a couple driving in the Salt Wells area discovered the body and alerted authorities. Deputies on the scene said the body had been at the location for at least several days.
An autopsy was performed Saturday by the State Medical Examiner, and the deceased man was identified as 36-year-old Joshua George Haven of Weber County.
Investigators are treating the death as suspicious, but no cause or manner of death has been concluded yet.
