PROVO, Utah — A woman who was injured in a car accident Wednesday has died.
Makenna Goodwin, a 23-year-old from Saratoga Springs, was traveling south on I-15 in Provo Wednesday morning when she drifted into the barrier on the right side. Her car then slid back into traffic and was hit by a semi-truck.
Goodwin died from her injuries Friday, the Utah Highway Patrol announced.
A GoFundMe has been set up to help her family pay for medical and funeral expenses.
