WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah — A 2.1 magnitude earthquake shook parts of West Valley City awake on Wednesday morning. The United States Geological Survey says the earthquake was felt at around 8:46 a.m.

The USGS says the quake started around 5 kilometers underneath the Earth's surface.
