UTAH COUNTY — Wildland fire crews responded to a fire near Springville Sunday.
Dubbed the "Nanny Goat Fire," it was estimated at 50-75 acres as of about 9 p.m. Its smoke was highly visible from across the Utah Valley during the day, including from Interstate 15.
Springville City wrote in a Facebook post that the fire is just north of city limits. Apage has been set up on the city's website where officials will provide updates pertinent to Springville residents.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
