UTAH COUNTY — Wildland fire crews responded to a fire near Springville Sunday.
Dubbed the "Nanny Goat Fire," it was estimated at 50-75 acres as of about 9 p.m. Its smoke was highly visible from across the Utah Valley during the day, including from Interstate 15.
Springville City wrote in a Facebook post that the fire is just north of city limits. A page has been set up on the city's website where officials will provide updates pertinent to Springville residents.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
