IRON COUNTY, Utah — A fire burning near Cedar City caused delays on Interstate 15 Sunday evening.
The "Bench Fire" is estimated at 30 acres, burning east of the freeway.
The Utah Department of Transportation announced the closure of NB I-15 at exit 62 around 5:30 p.m. before reopening around 6 p.m.
Each direction was then limited to one lane of travel between mileposts 62 and 72. As of 7:30 p.m., UDOT said all lanes were reopened with no delays.
The fire was caused by lightning, and no structures are threatened.
